Alienware: "The Evolution Continues" - Page 2

I am currently happy with AW, dont let a 10-45% personal disapproval rating detract from my overall happiness!!!!

I think this would have been a show stopper had they put it in a 17x chasis!!!!
Although I still want a black skullcap 15x w/ monte!!!!!

I think that is why they have 2 17" laptops. Some people like one but not the other.
I personally like the M17 chasis.

I like the way the m9750 is laid out if they could put a quad and a 9800 gt cards in it then it would be kick A$#... but I want the thinness of the m9750....

In looking on some websites that are selling the OCZ Whitebook, they say that they are testing nvidia cards in the same chasis.

that would be nice with 9800 GT cards in it...

I don't know if AW would add it as an option if/when it gets released.

Only thing to do is to ask one of the tech reps and see if they blow me off again like the last time asked whether or not they were going to have the MXM IV technology implemented with the m9750 so they could upgrade to the 8XXX series of mobile gpus from the 7950 gtx's. It just so happens that the tech support did not give me an answer. And by that I mean they wouldn't even tell me that they couldn't tell me, I was cut short and left out to dry.

Still good though to let them know that their consumers have knowledge of the products they are purchasing and the future of said products.
