New Macbook Resolution

Thread Starter
Today I was about to order the high end macbook because of its 13" portability but I decided to go and see it in the store. Inside the apple store I saw the new model but
I noticed the screen resolution was so low. I thought 1280x800 would be pristine clairty in a 13" notebook but everything from the icons to wallpaper seemed "bloated" and "large" I then checked it and saw that it was already on its highest resolution. I then saw the 1999$ macbook pro with the 1440x900 and its screen was excellent and sharp. Any reasons why this resolution looked so bad and large on this macbook or are all 13" notebooks like this.

Sorry for the long post.

Well I can't say for certain without having seen it, but based on the description I might first look at and see if someone has screwed with/up the settings for icon size, text size, background image, etc. Would take a bit of work to accomplish all of this to be honest, but is possible, especially on a display model I might imagine.
