Looking for a laptop under $1,000

Don't know much about computer statistics, but the following would be a plus. I don't want the computer to be obsolete next year.

1) At least 2GB of ram (3 or 4GB would be great)
2) At least 250GB
3) Decent Graphics (enough for videos or the occasional game)
4) Good resolution (not sure what the standard is)
5) 15 inch screen

Any Ideas? I don't really care which brand.

What exactly is the difference between the first two? The second looks a little faster (processing speed) but I don't really know how to compare the graphic cards. I'm more familiar with nVidia, so I may just go with the second one.

Where could I buy these?

Looks like the cheaper one has a higher resolution (cheaper is 1440x900, more expensive is 1280x800)
