operate notebook with closed top cover?

Thread Starter
Hello,
I am using an Fujitsu Amilo Pro V3525 Notebook as a desktop replacement computer more or less, having an external display, keyboard and mouse connected. I would actually like operate the laptop with a closed top cover / lid.
Is that possible? Of course the computer goes into sleep mode each time I try.
Thanks for your answer or suggestions on this.

Review the power scheme - "do nothing when lid closes" - then you should be all set. I would recommend a little gap (not totally closing the lid) when doing so, since the keyboard also acts as heat dissipation.

cheers ...
