Asus Eee PC 901

Pro's:
- Very Small, Portable
- Atom CPU @ 1.6 GHz is very fast!
- Windows XP included, more compatability that Linux
- Battery has a long charge time. Says it is 7HRs but more like 5-6HRs without Bluetooth and WiFi
- Screen display is excellent! 8.9" small enough, yet large enough to travel on the airplane with.
- Comes with 20GB Online Storage
- Webcam, setup for Skype and recording
- Wireless N card, works with my N router and speeds are fast, even through the very thick cement
- Boot-up time is only 26 seconds!
Cons's:
- Storage is only 12GB SSD; I had to use three USB drives and the 12GB for some Movies and Music...
- Not enough usb ports - but its an average number for Netbook PCs
- SSD is split into two (2) volumes; was not beneficial as I like to have all my files in one volume...
The Asus Eee 901 is an excellent machine! The battery, which sometimes ranges between 4HRS and 7HRS on a full charge was excellent for a 7 HR travel I took:
With Wireless off, Bluetooth off, backlight down a few settings, I was able to have the battery last for 7HRs while watching Movies and listening to Music with an 8.9" screen. Others traveling with me had iPod videos. Although they had 80GB + of space, they only had a three inch screen and about 2-3HRs of battery life...
Video of the Boot-Up time in Windows XP, Total Time: 26 Seconds!

Overall, the Asus Eeepc 901 is excellent for my needs, and I was able to appreciate it more once I used it for what its meant for; Traveling - Mobility.
Hope this helps anyone with making a choice!
