I definitely want the black keybord and I want the 120gb hard drive if it's a pata notebook drive.

I will also point out that Dell has an ongoing recall on those 17" screens for exactly the problem you describe. If you contact them and insist long enough, they'll send you a new screen so that you can do your own replacement.

Thanks for the info regarding the Dell screens. I'll be sure to follow up on that although my computer is already parted and my warranty expired (screen is still connected to the LID).

Also, the drive is a SATA drive. I apologize for not specifying that earlier. PM me regarding the keyboard.

Recall is good even if warranty is expired, as long as you are a registered owner of affected laptop - if you complain a lot, you can get new screen shipped first without tech involvement, just pack up bad screen and send it back. Worked for me.

Pulled from an Alienware M9750 I got 5 months ago. Should be under manufacturer's warranty still (I think 3 yrs for Seagate).

Yes it would. As a matter of fact, I just tested it on my father's I9300 and it works fine. BIOS sets the speed to 533mhz.

If you still have the Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate up for sale I'd be glad to discuss a better price with you. I am PayPal Certified and have impeccable feedback in here and on eBay. I'm known for my immediate "lightning bolt", super fast payments!

Let me know if your game.

P.S. - If you'd consider a trade I have THREE (3) SEALED - OEM - Media Center Edition 2005 complete with unused COA's and OEM Preinstallation Kits along with the Multimedia Fearture pack. We can trade 1 - 1, or work something else out.
