M9700 audio problem..

Not sure whats going on here but my audio isnt working at all. Just started randomly. Hasnt worked for a couple of days, I reloaded drivers still same result. I dont have the red cross on my audio hardware so i dont think its failed. And when i'm playing something back under the soundmax control panel I see the audio bars raising and lowering as if somethings playing back. The mic is still recording and functioning correctly. I'm running xp pro, sp3. Suggestions?

Do an restore point before the problem and see if that fixes it...
