Beta? what is it

Hello, I'm New here. Can you explain what a " beta " download is , why i should take it or not. I'm on Vista. Thanks for your help.

Beta is software that is still being developed and not the final release.

it really depends on what the software is for if you should take it or not.

however that said i would typically avoid beta releases unless you are a very experienced user since BETA releases are not polished final releases and may contain bugs and could cause system issues.

so in short, if you have to ask what a beta release is you should not be getting one.

yeah..avoid beta softwares if u dono wat it is...but i hope now u know...so u can try ur hand at beta's now....

Unless it's a beta by Google as Google is perpetually in Beta.
