I have a Compaq Presario V3000 laptop. it had come with its customised XP software on it .Now i totally deleted the recovert partition and the c partition and wanted to instal XP pro on it.I booted the PC through XP pro service pack 3 CD and it asked for the Intel Sata AHCI controller driver and i installed through floppy drive after that a message popped saying Insert the disk labelled Intel Matrix storage manager driverinto drive A.press enter when ready.I saw this Intel Matrix storage manager driver and it is about 17 mb in size .How would this package fit into drive a.Any ideas how to go head with this installation will be greately aoppreciated.
