My HD died in my toshiba satellite A105 , I installed a new one, reloaded my friends windows xp cd, and cant find my wifi info under device mananger. I found the realtek ethernet network card, and windows says thats working properly. Can anyone help me locate the wifi card so I can go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver?

Why don't you just go to Toshiba.com's support page and search by your specific model? The wireless driver that pops up should work.

Okay this sounds like the problem i had long ago with my V6106AU, it was a symptom for a dying mainboard. (Compaq replaced a new revised mainboard for me)

With this symptom, even if you have the driver installed but the Wireless adapter will never shows up on Device Manager, there is like no way to make it shows up.

Anyway i hope your problem is another thing. Go to this Toshiba driver selection site:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t..._sc_modSel.jsp

And input your laptop model and every info required, then it should shows up. Good luck!
