m9750 tv tuner problem!!!

alrighty i bought my m9750 from a friend and it had a bunch of junk on it so i reinstalled windows vista x64 and now when i try to use windows media center is says thst my hardware is not installed i also dont have abydrivers either and i have heared about and adapter for the coaxl cabel plz help!!!!

dont know of a driver for 64 bit OS for the tv tuner...alienware computers come with 32 bit OS and their drivers are on their webpage but they dont have any 64 bit OS...

The m9750 isn't supported with 64 bit windows, and they all don't come with the tv tuner unless it was ordered that way. Did the tv tuner work before? The tuner is a special option, and it comes with a remote control and the adapter. If you didn't get that stuff with the computer, it probably doesn't have the tuner inside.

They all have the ports on the back, but they're not hooked up to anything if there was a tuner installed at the factory.

You can get all the standard drivers from the support section of Alienware's website.
