V4000- DVD Burner Replacement

A friends V4000 dvd burner is not working and would like to replace it. Am i able to go to newegg and purchase any slim dvd burner knowing it will fit?

Any certain brand or make? She doesn't need to best or fastest, just something that works.

Should work, and no need to pay for name brand, as long as you get good warranty
