My dell power connector in the back got loose. At first it didn’t anymore recognize the power adapter to charge the battery and at the end it was very difficult to get even power connected.
So I decided to open it and fix somehow the problem.
By unscrewing all the bottom screws, I was able to get out hard disk, CD-ROM, battery and bottom is open. But how to open upper part where keyboard and screen is to open?
The front part is open but something holds it from a back. With my tries I have one cable there in loose too (I think it’s a keyboard) and unable even see how it connects to the motherboard.
Anyway, now my dell does not even switch on. The power light goes on for a moment and switches off.
What kind of tools do I need to fix the problem?
Thanks,
Veiko
