It does it on dust and dust2. What the problem was that it had pink shaded artifacts flickering on the walls and on the ground. It didn't really bother me as far as playing the game...it didn't make me play worse. But what did bother me was the fact that I knew there was something wrong with the video card for the money that I was spending on a notebook.
Also, the last time I used the notebook...i noticed it happening on other maps such as aztec and inferno. It only appeared on those maps after about 2 hours of gaming. So I guess as soon as it heated up to a very hot level, it started getting worse.
I'm sure you won't have the same problem as I am 99% sure that my video card was defective and NOT that the video cards on the 8790 are "incompatible" with counter-strike.
So in your case.... NO WORRIES! (unless yours is defective too)
