I want to say pipe-dream but almost anything is possible. Since there is a LED on the back of the laptop that lights with wireless activity if you extreamly good with wireing, soldering, electronic resisters(different led power requiements) I believe it could be done IMHO I can't see all that work being worth it esp since it will viod your warranty.
I'm hoping for a software solution. If software controls the Bluetooth LED and software is aware of the traffic on the wireless link (hence the little blinking networking icon in the the system tray) then it would be possible. If it is a direct hardware implementation then a jury-rigged wired solution would be the only option.
Yeah but on a wireless connection the Orange Indicator like lights up with WLAN activity for example browsing the web since these people seem to be focused on WLAN lgihts this would be suited wouldnt it?
... I guess.... (sorry, you threw me off with the original "On the Actual Ethernet port theres 2 lights Green is LAN and orange is WLAN" line - thought you were describing how a default ethernet light system works...)
