I really need some help gentleman

For whatever reason ,every time I open any window it only covers 3/4 of the screen. I know there is a setting in Explore when I am on the internet to switch to full screen mode. However it should be full screen everytime. I am not sure what I did to mess up this configuration. Not sure if I am making myself understood.

For example if I open MS word. The document will only cover 3/4 of the screen when it used to cover all of it. Please help

Thanks

SO you are saying when you maximize a window, it only covers 3/4 of the page? Is the page centered on the screen? The only thing I can think of, is that you have the screen resolution set lower than the native screen resolution of your monitor???

Are you using the Dell video driver that is stock for your system or is it something else? If it isn't the Dell driver, go to add/remove programs and uninstall the driver and re-install the Dell driver, that should do the trick.

I finally figured it out. The windows side bar was messing up my screen ,after I would change the resoulation while playing games. After I unintalled no problems.
