Hard drives on a M1730

Can the XPS M1730 handle TWO 500 gig hard drives, in a raid array, making it appear as a single one terabyte drive?? (and yes, I know it won't be a full 1,000gigs)

If it does, it will be awesome to have a laptop with a terabyte of storage!!

I know that 2 350 Gb drivres have been used so I do not see why two 500 GB drives would not work either

Has anyone here actually tried two 500g drives in a M1730 in a raid config to get a single terabyte drive? If so, how did it go? Or, am I to be the first guinee pig??
