New gaming laptop

Hi Guys,

Im in the market for a new laptop, its going to be used mainly for playing wow, so im just looking for some ideas on what to go for.

Only issue I have...... the laptop is used mainly while on a bed which means the vents underneath dont get the best airflow, this causes my current lappie to overheat and turn off after a while.

So what can i go for ? i was thinking maybe the new macbook pro ? i also love the look and spec of the alienware m15x.

Oh and i would prefer 15" screen.

WOW isn't a very demanding game. You should consider visiting your local retailer and looking at the different notebooks to get an idea of the features and style you like.

I would look at something around $1000 with a good dedicated (discrete) graphics card with at least 256MB video memory.

Between the 2 I would get the Alienware m15x. I use the new macbook pro at work and while its a great machine its only mediocre in gaming. If all you are playing is WOW then either one will be fine. Note that the apple will be better played on surfaces like a bed as the vents and fans are seemless.
