I am currently am looking to purchase a laptop with these to in mind hp dv5-1054tx with asus x71a-7s008c. They both are in my price range and meet my needs in space, ram etc. But the asus has less Ghz. I dont know which would be the better option allround I hear the Asus is a better build. But does the Ghz have a big play in this? What do you guys reccomed as the better option?

If you were to list the specs people would be more likely to respond but just listing the model number means you expect someone to take the time to look up all the specs themselves. How much GHz difference...what processor do they each use....ram, hard drive, graphics, etc...

And mainly, what's the main purpose of that laptop you want it focus to perform the most?

Gaming? 3D/Art design? Entertainment? Portability? State out one main-role then we'll help you figure it out.
