Video input? PCMCIA/USB

I wish to use my laptop's monitor for my DESKTOP.

I know there are tv-tuner cards on PCMCIA or USB.

However I dont wish to input low-res TV. I wish to have an input that would support my LCD's full resolution ( 1680x1050 ).

Is there such an adaptor? Will it be able to support 60+ fps?

I'd be playing games on the DESKTOP and I dont want to miss out on the FPS, nor do I wish any slight delay in the video. I dont want to move my mouse and have it only show on my screen 200ms later.

Good luck with that. Buy a cheap monitor instead.

Not going to happen, and what few devices out there that will capture a high-res signal will probably cost more than the $150 for a cheap flat panel. Look around, there's countless vendors with 19" widescreens for $150-175.
