I was recently working on my Acer Aspire 9410 Windows Vista. It crashed so I decided to call it a night. The next morning I go to turn on my laptop and all I get is a blank screen. The laptop fan, lights, etc are on, and the LCD is on, but its blank.
I decided to try to trouble shoot, and connected it to a monitor. It boots up on the monitor, however, the graphics are iffy. Sometimes its red lines going down the monitor. However, I know the monitor is fine.
I get 2 options when I boot up the laptop on the monitor.
Start Windows Normally

I'm not really sure what I should do now. I have no restore points or backups. And I'd like to exhaust all options before bringing it in to a shop.Repair runs and wants to send report to Microsoft.
