Samsung Centrino X10 Thoughts...

I have been to samsungs site and I think this laptop looks great. If you havent watched the vids do yourself a favor and check it out. I just wish these were going to be made available in the states. As it stands only overseas. I am seriously looking for a laptop now and this one has got my eye even though its a Centrino laptop. I really would love to see a few sites get a hold of this laptop and post a review of it to see how it stacks up against the rest. Does anyone else love the way this laptop looks, specs, etc... I love to hear other peoples opinions.

Looks good. But as seems to be the case with the majority of laptops these days bar a few.

They let the machine down with a 2 year old graphics chip.

When will they learn.....................

lol

Still...a lot of people will like it for its sleek dimensions and light weight. I think it is a good thing for housewives and students and skinny men lol

I feel the centrino is a load of hashish without the high. I'll take up on a CPU when it trumps the Pentium 4 on and off the battery.

If Sager can let us clock the cpu down to 600Mhz we'll get 4 hrs plus battery life easy!! the fans wont come on as often and we can underclock the GPU too!!

The laptop will suck with any modern software but you could still watch DVD's and thats a big deal to me when I fly 6-7 hrs across the pond

I think you are forgetting that when you run the centrino on batteries it can run from it's minimum 600mhz to its normal 1.6ghz on battery.

The battery life with the machine running on batteries is still 3hours plus - which is still great and remember the 1.6 is outperforming 2.4 Ghz desktop processors.
