the only way that dell quickset will work is that you have to install the windows vista home premium upgrade edition over windows xp media center edition 2005. which means you cant install a clean copy and expect dell quickset to work due to the fact that dell hasn't offered an update for dell inspiron 9300 and this specific application works only with xp.
