Studio 1535 eject button

Hi.
When I turn on my Studio 15, the media touch buttons don't work but the cd eject button lights up and stays up for a while (3-4 minutes), and the cd drive ejects a few times. What's going on there?
Thanks!

My Studio - OS: Windows Vista 32bit, BIOS: A05, RAM: 2GB

i have the same problem. in addition some days the media volume keys are at max when i boot up - other days nothing.
Dell tech support says they've done everything they can and i should get customer care to replace it.
All the numbers they give me go nowhere but around in a circle and i never get customer care. they say they are open 7AM to 7PM 7 days a week central time and i was within that timeframe and the number said they are closed

anyone have any good Dell contact numbers? I only have one week til my initial 21 days to replace are over.

thanks so much

um, yeah, of course, you can find all the # online. might be a pain right now because of the holidays so be : patient. honestly, if you love the computer but the touch buttons are funky, don't worry too much. it is an easy fix. my 1330 had a similar problem and dell just replaced the bezel, if you see the ribbon cable you will understand why the buttons fail sometimes. or if you are semi good with your hands with some tools pull it apart and try to reseat the cable
