New Acer 6930G no Tuba sound

Hi Guys, I have just joined the forum and hoped someone could confirm something for me. I have just been testing the sound on my new 6930G and when I set Acer eAudio Management to 5.1 Output and Test Speakers there is no soumd at all from the Tuba. Should I be able to here something or do I have faulty hardware/driver? Do I need to enable the Tuba hardware somewhere in Vista?

for some reason, in the little test thingy the subwoofer (tuba) does not work. however, just play some music with some bass or a DVD with a good 5.1 soundtrack and you will hear it.

i think it might be just a driver issue but haven't been able to verify it.

Hi MichelleG Thanx for your reply you are right I have ran some subwoofer test vids from youtube and the bass Tuba works fine. I just can not understand why Acer would put a test panel on the laptop but not mention you would not get any sound from the sub ??
