I paid close to $3000 for this in March 07 (after upgrading the drives, memory, etc).

I also have put custom (ie, homemade) thermal pads on the memory, GPU, GPU memory, and CPU to combat the pesky heat that notebooks packing this kind of power are known for.

I'd like to get $1500 obo for this unit but will entertain other offers.

I'm also open to trades for a high-end gaming desktop. And by high-end I'm talking E8500 processor, HD4870 video, 4GB DDR2 (DDR3 preferred) as minimums.
