Owner of a M50S-A in need of assistance

Thread Starter
I bought this laptop about 5 months ago. I've had this problem since i got it. whenever i play graphic-intensive games the computer freezes often. I usually run games through steam but some are non-steam games. I've had the computer sent in 3 times to deal with the problem. All the drivers are up to date, the bios is up to date, it even had a fresh hard drive put in. I just got it back from the 3rd repair 3 days ago and i just ran into the problem again. I play any game for about 30 minutes the screen locks up, the sound freezes, and then it goes to the bios welcome screen and reboots. I play games like team fortress 2, left 4 dead, and crysis. My video card is a radeon 3650hd, so it has no problem running it, but my laptop does get hot. Is it simple overheating that is causing this problem or am i overlooking something?
-Core 2 Duo 2.5 ghz
-4gb ddr3
-250 gb hhd
-Radeon 3650 hd with 1gb dedicated memory and directx10.1 compatible
here are the specs if that helps out. Thanks

It definitely sounds like you're overheating. Since it's not fixed after 3 times, you might want to either ask for a replacement or your money back. Seems like you've got a lemon.

edit: just to make sure, though, are you blocking any intake fans when you play?
