Okay so I just bought this Netbook Eee Pc 900, being I got really lucky on amazon.com, but my main question is why is it it more money or about the same price as other Netbooks even other Asus netbooks that have to me which seem to be way better specs, I.E HDD Space, Ram, Processor, Battery life. I been trying to compare them all, but for some reason this Eee Pc 900 is more or the same price as other Netbooks which all seem to be better; The only thing I saw that was better then some was the camera. So can someone please explain?

Then I am not sure why. DrLouis has the 1000 and seems to be more into the Eee's he would be the one to ask.

Crap, you got it for $129 didn't you?

Anyway, who knows why they are pricing these the way they are. I often wonder why they put such small SSD drives in them. I prefer the bigger drives.

Why is an Acura more than a Toyota or a Pontiac more than a Chevrolet? Everything out there isn't meant to have the same price point. It's possible that the parts for the 900 model were more expensive when Asus contracted for them and when successive 901 and 904 models came along the parts were at a lower price point, though Asus likely had lots of 900s to get rid of at a slightly higher price. Or...it's perceived value: people might just think that if you pay more, you get more.
