Thread Starter
I have i pavilion dv4 was bought from Dubai a month ago as present a i got it 3 days ago, I have a problem whit the temperatures on the device, at idle the temp are in celsius(fahrenheit): 50 (122) hdd, gpu 47(116.6) cpu 40(104) , for testing i tried a game-counter strike source and the gpu got as far as 80(176) cpu above 60(140) and hdd 58(136.4). The funny thing is in the user manual temps for western digital hard drives are from 5-55(41-131) deg .My room temp is from 22-25(71.7-77) deg is this normal and if there are people reading please if you have any experience whit this models post your temperatures. Reinstaled the Acpi fixed Feature button, scaned the hdd and nothing updated all drivers and the bios is the last version f14. For the readings I use Everest from Lavalys

My exact model is dv4-1135ee and Vista Home Premium 32bit.

Those temps are totally normal for a stressed laptop - but naturally could be lower. Raise the back of the laptop by 1 -2 inches - it's cheap trick to lower temps a little.
