Apple led cinema display

anyone have one of these yet?

i am looking for some opinions on the quality of the display and how useful it is... its not cheap for a display, in fact i know i could get several dell displays, larger ones even for the same price.

but if am going mac i might as well just go all out and i do like the idea of the magsafe built in so i dont need to be buying extra cords. i figured that someone might have one already and be able to toss in a verdict on its practicality and overall quality.

Really only useful if you have one of the new 'unibody' mac laptops to be honest.

Personally, I see more people with other screens attached to their macs, non Cinema display. I have a preference for Samsung myself and been very happy with my Samsung displays next to my MBP. Would love it even more if I could get both of them attached, but I am still iffy about the Matrox unit that would allow me to do so.

So I personally wouldn't put to much stock in it just because it is Apple, but it is worth looking and seeing what people say about it I suppose.

i would only be interested because my next laptop is likely to be one of the new "unibody" macbooks.

i havent talked to my friend who works for apple yet about them but i do admit that i like the looks of them from the pics i have seen. just was mainly wondering if anyone had tried it and what their thoughts were on its overall quality.
