Netbook sales mean strong end-of-year showings for Acer and Asus

Asus more than doubled its notebook sales over the last year to move up to the 5th largest notebook brand in the world. Acer also managed a coup by beating out Asus to sell the most netbooks in 2008.

Acer dominate in sales. That's pretty ridiculous numbers.

Once the NEW wears off on these netbooks and people realize what a pain they really are to work with and type on I suspect these teeny weeny netbooks will go the way of the pet rock fad back in the 70's.
