SanDisk U3 cruzer corrupt!

Thread Starter
Got a new SanDisk U3 "Smart" drive. Copied 1gb of college work onto it from my old memory stick.

Yesterday I was working on a programming project for college using Microsoft VB express 2008 and discovered that when I opened the program a large section of it was missing!

So I had a huge panic, managed to find an elier saved version of it (which was very lucky because i nearly never backup!) and so I carried on working on that and deleted the ruined one. (which also didnt like conpiling)

Today I had one lesson at college which was programming, plugged to stick in, my program was there, all worked fine, at the end of the lesson I ejected the stick properly, like I always have done. And when I got home IT'S CORRUPT AGAIN!!!!

Anybody got any suggestions or ideas of how to sort this? Uninstall U3?

P.S. Ive just formatted it.

Thanks for reading, Alex

I always uninstall U3...its a piece of crap if you ask me but I've never really used it hehe. Just do a google search on "uninstall U3." U3 actually provides the uninstaller, which is surprising to me since you cant even buy a flash drive that doesnt have that crap on it.
