I've seen threads like this about other Gateway laptops. I've recently moved from Vista to XP for the obvious reasons (wow is my computer ever fast with XP
) Anyhow, I can't seem to get my sound working. I have managed to find the drivers for everything except for Sigma Tel High Definition Audio CODEC 
.
I've tried using the Vista driver from Gateway as well as Dell driver, and several others with no luck. I even tried a Windows hotfix to see if that was the solution but still nothing.
Anyone have any advice PULEEEEEEEEEEZE!!! I really want to stay with XP!!!!
