quicktouch buttons going crazy

Hi, I recently purchaced a HP dv 1159se laptop, it has the touch screen quickplay, volume play stop ect buttons up above the keyboard.
Reading reviews of many hp computers ive learned that these buttons have problems but it is not somthing that would stop someone from buying the computer.
I have experienced that, and it is a little quirky sometimes, also some times works very well...
but recently when I go to adjust the volume it is really quirky and even when my finger is off from the touch screen it keeps adjusting my volume. If I pop up the volume screen I can see that the volume adjuster thing on the screen just jiggles, because it is contstantly adjusting my volume.

I uninstalled programs that I thought ran them, I belive they were HP quicktouch, and somthing else of that nature, but the buttons still work and still continue to give me problems.

It seems to be related to heat, when the computer cools down my volume control goes back to working normal.

I woould prefer that the buttons dont work, if they are going to do this.
Can someone point me into a direction of removing a driver or program that will stop these buttons from working?

Thanks!

Nope, noone responded to help me... lol

Ive just been dealing with it... it works corectly 75% of the time now... im just getting my self trained with it...

Love the computer though still... very very fast, and suprisingly seems much faster than the day I bought it.

My old desktop is a p4 3.4 ghz w/ 2gb ram and this one will absoulutely run circles around that, and that was never a slow computer in my oppinion. This computer is a core 2 duo t5800 2.0ghz w/ 4 gb ram.

Try uninstall the Quick Launch Buttons from Control Panel, then download from HP to install it . Make sure it's for your model:
