Alright, so I plan on buying a laptop, and have narrowed it down to either the Vaio Z, Vaio SR, or the HP DV5T. Here are the configurations I would get for each:
Vaio Z(main info)

-Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Premium with Service Pack 1
-4 GB DDR3-SDRAM (DDR3-1066, 2GBx2)
-200 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive [7200 rpm]
-LCD 13.1" (XBRITE-DuraView™)
-DVD +/- R DL / DVD +/- RW / DVD-RAM Drive
Vaio SR(main info)
-Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T9600 (2.80GHz)
-Microsoft® Windows Vista® Business 32-bit
-4 GB DDR2-SDRAM (DDR2-800, 2GBx2)
-250 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive [7200 rpm]
-13.3" WXGA (XBRITE-ECO™ technology)
-ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470 with HDMI™ Output and 128mb dedicated video RAM
-DVD±R DL / DVD±RW / DVD-RAM Drive
HP dv5t(main info)
-Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (32-bit)
-Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz)
-15.4" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Infinity Display (1680 x 1050)
-4GB of Ram
-512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
-320GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
-SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
What I am Looking for in a laptop: I am looking for a laptop that is preferably portable, and as light weight as possible. Although, the Vaio's vs HP are very different, gaming is also important. I would like to play games such as call of duty 4/5, gears of war, crysis, grid, world of warcraft, warcraft 3, half life 2, etc. I will be taking my laptop to and from school aswell so as I mentioned, portability is quite important. Between the 3, I am trying to find the best match for portability+power+looks. Looks are very important to me and the way I see it, looks go(from nicest to not as nicest) Vaio Z>Vaio SR>HP dv5t.
A few questions:
1)Between the Vaio Z and SR, which one is overall more powerful?
2)Between the Vaio Z and SR, which ones graphics card is more powerful and which one can run games as I mentioned above better/smoother.
3) Which laptop is the best cross between power, style, and portability.
4) Would the Vaio Z or SR run adobe photoshop/dreamweaver better?
Although I know that the HP is the most powerful of them all, I am looking at a cross between power, looks, and portability. If the only good option is the HP then please tell me. I enjoy watching movies, on the computer aswell. I want a computer that can last me at least 2 years minimum.
