Acer laptop 2410 doesnot start

Hi

I have a acer laptop 2410 laptop.

I did not use this for 1 month. When i returned and switched on the Power, it showed that the battery was charging. However when I clicked the power on button, it did not start.

I left the laptop in the charging mode and after 4 hours, when I clicked the power button, itstarted up. It worked for a week and then again I have the same problem

Now the battery shows green light, i.e it is charged, but when I click the power button, it doesnot start. This has been the case for a week.

Please help

I had the same symptoms on my Acer Aspire 3020. I did replace the battery and the adapter; eventually it was the mobo that was failing!
