Screen problem with VGN-FE31m - any ideas?

Hi,
Today my VGN-FE31m has developed a screen issue that looks something like this
The white areas of the screen are fine its around the coloured areas like desktop and window surrounds. Is this something I can fix or is this an expensive issue.
Thanks very much for your time.

Best bet is to get correct specs and confirmation from the seller, verifying the pins location and its number. Get the right replacement if you can, don't mess with interchangeable parts unless you are 100% sure about it yourself. This way you don't have to mud around with inverter or cable.
