Vista stability

Ok so prob a very dumb question but my laptops powercord got disconnected as i was browsing the web earlier today and it immediatly lost power. when i started it back up it said do i want to start windows normally or in safe mode? i was just worrying that this wont f up my new comp. oh and my os is vista 64 bit. thanks

Just start it up again in safemode, then restart again after proper shutdown. Run a scandisk/defrag just in case. Vista is cool, question is what other programmes that you were running.

Windows can handle a few sudden shutdowns once in a while. As long as you don't make a habit of it, you'll be gold.

how would i know if something was wrong? what things would i notice or experience

Hard to say, your comp & your apps, you know how they react. Keep an eye on it and see.

Just start normally ...you'll be fine.

Just start it normally should be fine. I had it happen to me several times and it hasn't affected anything.
