Dell XPS M1730 8800M GTX graphic issue

Hi,

I have got graphic issue regarding the 8800M GTX when the SLI is enabled in game play. The screen has got glitches in every 5-10 seconds. These happens in games like Crysis, Assassin's Creed and even running 3dmark06 at some points. And these are most of the games I have been playing so far in my laptop. The problem seems to be disappeared when the SLI is disabled. So, I wonder if there is the driver issue or actually the hardware failure in my graphic card. I have tried to install the latest driver from Nvidia 179.28 and the problem still exist. I have contacted Dell support and waiting for their reply at the moment.

I wonder if any of you guys have got these problem same as me and would appreciate if any of you could help me out on this with advice. Many thanks.

Try different drivers.

Sorry if this is a bit late but I just saw the topic. I am using 179.28 from NVIDIA and I have not had any problems and I just finished Crysis Warhead. The only trouble I had was with the sound drivers. One thing I have to ask is did you uninstall the old drivers first? If you didn't it can really screw things up.
