Good card you should be fine with it. Do not expect to play games with everything at max though. Medium settings should do fine. I have the ASUS MV50V-X1 which has the p8400 CPU and 9600GS GPU I am playing all current games expect for GTA IV.

Yes it does. Now I run at 1280x800 so its not the highest rez but it is native and I can run at medium settings on most of those games.

i really dont understand, why is the resolution is so important for a laptop,or when u play a game? it's not enough 1024x768??
Alot of "elite" gamers like to have the higher resolutions because it "looks Better". I am older and happen to like lower resolutions I personaly think that 1280x800 is perfect for 15.4 screen. 1024x768 is 4:3 where as most laptops are 16:10 (1280x800) and newer laptops are coming out in 16:9 (1366 x 768)

No problem. Go to a store that has laptops on display and look at the 15.4 inch models at different resolutions to make sure that 1280x800 is okay for you. It may not be enough space on the desktop for you.
