Sony VGN-NS110E Onscreen Display Question

I'm helping a buddy out and I'm getting his new Sony VGN-NS110E laptop in top-top shape. I was removing the plethora of Sony and AOL programs that are pre-installed. I accidently removed the program that displays onscreen the volume, brightness, ect when you change them. Does anyone know the program that controls this? I need to reinstall it.

Thanks,
Rudy

Also what program is started when you push the "AV MODE" button.

Thanks,

Easiest approach would be a re-install/restore. I would recommend just disaling the apps that you don't need, instead of removing them. This way you can ensure that the comp works smoothly before contemplating removing the apps from the machine

Thanks for the input, but I really would just like to re-install the apps. Anyone got the names of them?

^^ it is worth a shot, but that extra utility packs does not always work if some Sony shared libraries have been removed during some other apps removal.

That is why I always recommend to disable processes/services on any laptops, use it for a while, before removing unwanted apps.
