Sager 9890 Video Driver .

Hi everyone i have a sager 9890 With a Nvida 7900 GTX 512 meg card . I'm looking for some driver advice . I been trying different drivers with some good but mostly bad results. Can anyone give me some advice as to what would be a Good driver version and ware to get it from . I'm currently running 180.70 Drivers but i had some graphics tearing going on with COD world at war. Ohh and what benchmarking utility can i down load to try ? Whats does everyone use.?

Where did you get the drivers? What operating system are you running?

NVidia now (FINALLY), has mobile drivers available directly from it's website.

As far as benchmarking, you should just use your favorite games because different drivers can have both positive and negative effects on speed depending on the application you use. There are also other benefits such as stability and image quality which may be more worthwhile than pure benchmark performance.

I have been getting my drivers from laptop video2go with a inf file. Sager doesnt update their drivers it seems , Im running XP pro, I hate Vista. Im gonna try the drivers from nvidias site and see how they work. Thanks for the help . My old sager 3790 would only work correctly with sagers video driver, any other i would get a black screen on boot up. Its seems my sager 9890 is not as fussy about video drivers.
