E1505 Touchpad going crazy!

All of a sudden, my touchpad is very erratic; it is almost uncontrollable. I have downloaded and re-installed the Dell drivers without success.

Other than replace the entire palm support which includes the touchpad, is there anything else I can do?

Im no expert but maybe you could invest in a wireless mouse, I always found these touchpads to be unreliable.

There's really nothing you can do apart from replacing the palmrest assembly. The problem isn't software, it's hardware.
