Someone on another thread asked how to make a lighted raised power symbol. I decided to make a tutorial to do something similar that could be helpful for this person and hopefully others as well. This method uses two separate sheets of Plexiglas both painted on the back side as to allow for the flaws in the paint not to be seen.

first cut plexi to the size needed

Next tape(double layer) and draw desired image on tape

Then cut out and remove the negitive area

Then paint and remove remaining tape (allow paint to dry first)

Next cut another slightly smaller peice of plexi and paint white(allow to dry)

Drill holes every inches in white plexi to allow for LED insertion

Insert LED's and wire up

Tape edges to prevent light leakage

Voila Lights!

Next attach Second(white) plexi to the bottom of First(one with the symbol) plexi, remember painted surfaces go towards the back
