Media Direct infinite loop

Running a xpsm1210 with the default winxp media center edition. I dont know what the hell has happened but all of a sudden xp wont boot up anymore. I press the power button and it boots up straight into media center.
I pressed the dmd button by 'mistake' I hate this button and i never use it and the inevitable happened and now i cannot get into xp.
How do i get out of this infinite loop? Please help!

I'd recommend booting off of the Media Direct button, then doing a full shutdown once Media Direct loads. If that doesn't work, then boot into Windows XP Safe Mode, then do a full shutdown once WinXP loads.

If that fails, then call Dell.
