Sophos AutoUpdate uninstall from vista

I cannot uninstall sophos auto update. this is required to install kaspersky internet security..everytime its showing error message 2738..can anyone help me in this regard.

The first thing to do here would be to contact Sophos Support :

Who can go through reasons why the software may not be uninstalling , from the Knowledgebase this error can be thrown up when windows scripting host is uninstalled or disabled :

When you do contact support it would also be useful to supply information about which OS you are running , which service pack and (if you know it) which version of Sophos was installed on the machine.
