I am looking for a good Gaming Laptop for $1000 or less. anyone have any good suggestions?

the gateway fx, cheap and good gaming rigs. i think a refurbished one for around a grand, or a refurbished m1710 from dell

Well with your price, you can have a look at the HP Pavilion HDX 18t 18.4 in. 3GB 250GB laptop coems with 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT , this laptop was price for $1350, but recently there is a price drop for it, only $1091 at HP home, I think you can give it a look.

Asus G50vt-X1 at best buy. I have been a alienware guy for years but this lappy is very impressive for the price of 1049.00.

Now granted its about $1100 before taxes, but the Gateway P-7805u FX is a great computer for gaming/movies/power. Has the processor to back up pretty much anything. I haven't found one thing that I don't like about this computer. Now granted it cost me a little bit more than $1000, after taxes and warranty, but imho it was worth every dime.
