Screen turns red

Sometimes the screen turns a shade of red, moving the screen or pressing down on the keyboard fixes it, but if you move it around sometimes it comes back as a small band or all over the screen.

I require this laptop in a week, so an rma might shoot me in the foot. Anyone ever hear of this problem or have it.


No dead pixels.

I had one, no dead pixcels, it was ok for 2 or 3 days then I had the problem. Colors were set at high resolution but when booting colors were liked 256, a lots of static run across the screen, left it for 5 minutes then it was normal. It only acted this way as cold boot, when it warmed up it is ok.
By the way, sometimes I just moved the screen then it was ok, too.
In my case, I think that either a cold soldered join or something loose or both.

You need to take some pictures then send them to sager's support.
But RMA is around the corner.
Don't keep the machine too long.
