HP pavilion dv2000 memory upgrade

Hey all, new to laptop customizing and was just wondering what type of memory is compatible with my girlfriend's hp dv2000 laptop?

All I know so far is this.

It comes with 2x1gb sticks of PC2 5300 200PIN DDR2 SODIMM

I am interested in getting 4gb for her. Would OCZ be ok?

I am looking at these right now -

http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...00_ddr2_sodimm

They are OCZ PC2-5400 DDR2 SODIMM 200 pin

Would these be compatible with her laptop? Or can someone recommend something else???

The 5400 is just the max speed it runs at, so it would be ok if it wast the 5300 like the stock hp has?

Anyways, great forum!
I'm eager to learn all about laptops and thought id give search a break and ask a q.

So there's no way to upgrade this laptop's memory, short of replacing the motherboard and everything? What a sham.

Vista and XP 32 bits only recognize max of 3.2 ~3.5 GB ram so 4GB ram is a waste. Besides, install ram more than the system can handle will end up with BSOD.
