Hi Saima, a "TV out" port is to send pictures from your PC to your TV. Your PC cannot receive TV signals unless you have a TV decoder card inside or attached by USB port.

The spec quoted at the top of your post indicates built-in TV tuner and Vista Ultimate includes Media Centre. There should be a socket for TV input somewhere, probably at the back, behind the screen. My socket needed an adapter to a UK aerial lead but that was supplied in the box. Plug your aerial or cable lead in just as you would your TV set and then go into Media centre to set it up.

Dont know where you bought your comp from, but general specs show no builtin tv-tuner. And any cards would do, just make sure that it supports your country's signals.

I can recommend the SlingBox.

You plug your cable TV and other devices right into it.

It can control the devices remotely via "IR Blaster"

I have an ANTENNA hooked to mine and I get HDTV over the air for free, and can watch it on any computer on my home network.

I can even stream it over the internet and watch TV anywhere in the world.

Compared to those internal TV capture cards which cost $70 or so per computer, this gadget lets ALL my computers in my house access ALL my media and devices (software is installed on each computer for this)

I can't recommend it highly enough.
